"And he arose, and came to his father." — Luke 15:20
The father running out to meet a son who came home with nothing, painted at dusk with the lamplight still on behind them. A picture of welcome offered before an apology is finished.
Printed on heavy-weight canvas and stretched over a solid wood frame, it sits slightly proud of the wall for gentle depth, and the image wraps over the edges so it reads as a finished piece from any angle. At home above a mantel, in a reading nook, a prayer corner, a church office, or a counseling room.
