Free Bible study and prayer tools you can use today
These are the free Bible and prayer tools we build alongside our full-grain leather gifts — the same verses we deboss into leather, made useful in everyday moments. Read a short daily Bible verse, find scripture for exactly how you feel, follow a short reading plan, listen to the Word, or keep a private prayer journal. Every tool is free, works in your browser, and needs no account.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and nothing to install. Where a tool saves your progress — the prayer journal and verse memorization — everything stays on your own device and is never sent to us.
Are these tools really free?
Yes, completely free. We make Christian gifts in full-grain leather; these Bible tools are our way of putting the same Scripture to work every day, whether or not you ever buy anything.
Which tool should I start with?
If you want one verse for today, start with the Verse of the Day. If you are carrying something heavy, try Bible verses for every emotion. To build a habit, pick a Bible reading plan by topic.
Many of these verses live on in leather — browse our Bible bookmarks and the full collection.

What these tools are, and what they are not
These are small, single-purpose tools. A verse for today, prayers you can pray as written, verses gathered by what someone is feeling, plans short enough to finish, a way to hear Scripture read, flashcards for learning a verse by heart, and a journal for your own words. Each does one thing and stops.
They are not a Bible app, and they are not counselling. They do not replace a church, a pastor or a therapist, and they are not meant to hold anyone’s attention longer than the moment they were opened for. If one of them sends someone back to their own Bible sooner, it has done its work.
Using them in a church, class or ministry
You are welcome to link to any of these tools from a resources page, a bulletin, a class handout or a group chat. Nothing is gated: there is no account to make, nothing to install, and no one arriving from your link is asked for an email address before they can use anything.
That matters for a group in particular. A leader can put a link in a retreat packet or a lesson plan without sending their people into a sign-up flow, and without having to vouch for what happens to their details afterwards.
The verse images on our Bible verse images page are free to save and share as they are. If you want to reproduce one in something printed, write to us first and we will almost certainly say yes — we would just rather be asked.
Who makes these, and why they stay free
We are Christian Gifts USA, a small brand making full-grain leather Christian gifts — bookmarks, keychains and travel pieces with a verse debossed into the hide. The shop is how the work is paid for. These tools are how we put something back that costs the person using it nothing.
There are no ads on any of them, no trackers selling anyone’s behaviour on, and no free tier waiting to become a paid one. Where a tool remembers something — the prayer journal, the saved verses, the memorisation progress — it remembers it on that person’s own device, and we never see it. That is not a promise about our intentions; it is simply how they are built.
For ministries and resource pages
Can I link to these tools from my church or resources page?
Yes, and you do not need to ask. Nothing is gated, so no one arriving from your link is asked to sign up or pay before they can use anything.
Which Bible translation do the tools use?
The King James Version (KJV), which is in the public domain.
Do the tools collect personal data?
No. There are no accounts and no ads. Where a tool remembers something — the prayer journal, saved verses, memorisation progress — it is stored on your own device, not on a server, and we cannot see it.
Can I use the verse images in a bulletin or on social media?
The images are free to save and share as they are. For reproduction in printed material, write to us first — we will almost certainly say yes, we would just rather be asked.
